We work to conserve the historic Canal for everyone to enjoy • We   organise open-air volunteer work parties • We encourage boat users onto the waterway • We help to preserve the Canal’s heritage and stimulate interest in its future • We seek to keep the Canal and its paths clean and pleasant for water users, walkers, families and wildlife • We arrange talks and social events

By joining the Friends you can:


• Become part of a group of supporters speaking up for the Canal and its future


• Support us through volunteer work parties on the Canal with opportunities to learn new practical skills


• Take part in a range of profile raising activities and fundraising


• Attend events organised by the Friends so that you feel part of our community
